Orlando is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Orlando is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I will not ever support The Mustard Seed again. For starters they never answer the phone no matter what time of day it is or what extension you dialed. Their service prices are expensive. Example: The application and delivery fees etc. I used to donate warm heartedly to this organization but they are ungrateful and all about the money. My last donation I allowed them to come to my house for pickup. One or maybe even both of the guys stole my medically prescribed herb from my patio, that I had inside of a basket. I also gave a 100$ dollar cash donation with my furniture. I called in and spoke to Alexandria the Director. She provided me her phone number and asked me to send in photos. She stated that she would get back to me. I sent her photos and a video of the basket where my stash was stolen from. I never heard back from Alexandria! She was untruthful, insincere, and unbothered about my serious concern. I was to trusting and kind, with these shady people. I learned a valuable lesson from this disappointing experience. I would not recommend the mustard seed for anything!

My experience with Mustard Seed was very disappointing. Several years ago, I relocated to Florida to seek treatment for my daughter, who has cerebral palsy. We arrived with very limited resources and were referred to this organization for assistance with furnishing our home. At first, the process seemed very thorough. I went through interviews, video calls, paperwork, and multiple verification steps to prove our need. However, I was required to pay upfront fees to select furniture and additional fees for delivery, without being allowed to see the items beforehand. When I was finally allowed to view the furniture, I was shocked by its condition. Most of the items were extremely worn, damaged, and, in my opinion, not suitable to be provided to families in need. I could not find a single item that met even basic expectations. When I expressed my concerns and requested a refund, the treatment I received changed significantly. I had to be very persistent because my refund was initially denied. Only after insisting was my money returned. I respect organizations that work to help the community, but my experience was extremely negative. There should be greater transparency regarding t

Matt and Newton rule. It was such a great experience. They came to pick up some stuff to donate, and we actually had a great time loading up. Theyβre both a blessing to the Mustard Seed and I love the organization. I donβt have enough nice things to say about them. They were very professional and very courteous. They made moving day so much a true pleasure. It was a great experience from beginning to end, from the people on the phone to Matt and Newton.

A great organization! Easy to schedule a quick pickup. Phone staff super professional and the 3 gentleman that picked up the items were super polite. Nice knowing the furniture will be appreciated.

I work Mon-Fri until late & Mustard Seed is far from my home but I needed to donate some blankets and comforters. So grateful for the drop off containers. There are two right outside the gates. This makes it easier for all who can to help out with donations. Times are hard & everyone needs a little help.
